Position Overview:

The App Growth & Engagement Manager will be in charge of identifying, launching, and establishing best practices related to engaged app member growth and current app member engagement across the Retail and E-Commerce environments in partnership with the O2O business director.

Job Description:

This role will work cross functionally with all business and store functions, including global headquarters and external partners, to drive membership acquisition and user engagement across both the retail and E-Commerce environment.

This manager will help conceive of ideas, execute them, ensure their scalability and strategic effectiveness, and measure impact through sales, customer satisfaction, expense reduction and other key performance indicators. They will serve as an organizational leader to implement and monitor ongoing projects to connect the channels – including physical stores, desktop website and mobile website/app. Also, this role will initiate discussion across all key departments such as IT, store operation, logistics and marketing departments to work effectively and leverage cross-functional support with both internal and external stakeholders to drive ultimate success. This Manager will lead the projects from initial proposal through go live as well as continue to monitor ongoing program KPIs.

Essential Core Responsibilities:

App Growth:

  • Contribute to overall App growth in O2O to achieve App DL targets by initiating and/or executing in-store, digital, and out of home actions aligned with team’s objectives
  • Build strong relationships with store teams to initiate and sustain continuous growth in conjunction with HQ
  • Lead, measure, track and report on these initiatives
  • This position will require leading App initiatives and motivating store teams in the field therefore 40% to 50% of travel may be required

User Engagement:

  • In direct partnership with the internal CRM and store teams, define and build-out objective, scope, requirements, ROI, KPI and timeline for new app membership engagement & membership maximization(omni-channel) initiatives that will drive long-term customer engagement.
  • Work cross functionally to align and spearhead projects to ensure teams are meeting requirements and deliverables based on timeline
  • Communicate and address any issues that may impact budget, timeline or deliverables as it pertains to each project
  • Measure, track and report on each initiative

Requirements:

  • B.S. in Business or E-commerce, supply chain management is preferred.
  • 5-7 years working experience as business leader/O2O business related role.
  • Can understand overall all business processes from end to end, including the knowledge on outside companies
  • Excellent analytical and mathematical proficiency with strong business acumen
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Leadership skills, Negotiation skills, Inter-personal skills to engage and coordinate people coming from different background
  • Problem-finding and solving skills, Logical and structural thinking for clear verbal and written communication
  • Open mind-set, outside box thinking, can handle ambiguity and uncertainty
  • Global mind-set with objective view points
  • Flexible to fast moving pace, Patience, Persistence, tolerance and with Grit (determined)
  • Ability to handle multiple projects effectively
  • Sense of urgency, accuracy, and efficiency,
  • Action-oriented, not afraid to “roll up the sleeves” and dig into details
  • Other duties assigned by manager
  • Frequent in-person collaboration

Salary: $88,000 – $105,000*

*The offered salary or salary range is based on several factors, including, but not limited to, overall experience, relevant experience, education level, certifications, applicable skills and expertise, and location of the position.
