Description

This Assistant Store Manager is specifically designed for our in-store Handroll Factory business.

As all our Assistant Store Manager, the goal of this position is the high quality shopping experience of our customer. All the managers are responsible to be the role model to ensures that the entire store is always providing customers with a pleasant time and place through the best possible service and a safe and secure store, based on the corporate principle of “The Customer Matters Most”.

Basic Job Responsibilities:

  • Execute menu items with precision and attention to detail.
  • Work closely with supervisors about the handroll menu refine/update, work closely with perishable department about the ingredients and seasons.
  • Guild and lead Handroll team to provide the high quality food for customer and ensure the food safety.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work station, be the remodel and train the team members to keep the kitchen and handroll bar high standard hygiene level.
  • Collaborate with the store management team to ensure smooth and efficient service in store.
  • Straightly follow recipes and portion control guidelines.
  • Assist store management with inventory management and stock rotation.
  • Approaching interactions with co-workers and guests in a respectful & solution-oriented manner

Requirements

Basic Requirements:

  • At least 5+ years of experience sushi rolling experience.
  • Expertise in Japanese cuisine, fast-paced restaurant setting.
  • Must have excellent knife skills and attention to detail.
  • Must have prior knowledge in preparing and making handrolls.
  • Able to work fast, organized, and efficiently (taking into account portion, cost control, sanitation, and cleanliness) as a leader and team player.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a high-volume environment.
  • Knows and complies consistently with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to food quality.
  • Excellent communication skills; Must be able to follow directions, as well as be a team player.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
  • Other duties, as assigned by store manager.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL POSITIONS:

  • Must be able to work with the store operations schedules.
  • Constant walking and standing.
  • Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods of time (up to 8 hours)
  • Ability to reach, bend, and frequently lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Regularly required to use hands and frequent washing of hands.
  • Maintain clean and polished look, and clean hygiene.
