As the Automotive Aftermarket Sales Specialist, you will require those skills to play a vital role in increasing sales through our retail and wholesale e-commerce channels. Your primary responsibilities will be managing and growing accounts, phone sales, building relationships with customers, managing wholesale accounts, and generating and nurturing leads via phone and emails.
Some of your key tasks will be to maintain and update the CRM, create and complete follow-up tasks, have regular calls with wholesale accounts, build quotes for customers, help customers find the right parts, and help log other inbound phone calls. This role is highly phone and email-driven so you must be a self-starter who is comfortable working independently and representing the company to new customers. You should also be comfortable with technology and being in front of a computer the majority of your day. Qualifications Required:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Professional Sales experience
- Knowledge of automotive parts and cars
- Must communicate effectively in person, via email, online, phone, etc
- Basic understanding of grammar, spelling and math
- Strong typing skills
- Basic understanding of a CRM program
Qualifications Desired:
- Knowledge of European and Japanese vehicles and the automotive aftermarket industry
- Entrepreneurial, Customer Service, Mechanical, Social Media, and/or Marketing experience
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Lead Acquisition & Customer Management
- Seek out and pitch potential customers on why they should be our customer
- Increase sales of auto parts by setting up new wholesale accounts and selling core brands
- Increase sales by upselling current dealers on additional brands available
- Have regular conversations regarding their account to identify additional opportunities
- Educate and train dealers on how to sell, find parts and pricing, use our website, etc
- Send quotes to help close deals
- Answer any questions via phone, chat, email or social media
- Interact on manufacturers’ social media to try to capture sales
- Send custom carts when applicable
- Find leads through various channels
- Attend car shows and build relationships to acquire repeat customers and/or influencers
- Hand out marketing materials
- Take detailed notes on interactions in the CRM
- Complete all CRM tasks based off entries submitted or tasks created by system
- Help improve the CRM with canned responses, email templates, standardized sales pitches
- Recommend parts and brands that help the customer and our company
- Help improve the functionality of the websites by offering feedback
- Participate and engage in weekly team meetings that drive results and recognize your feedback

- Event attendance – You will attend 6-12 events per year, including all of our cars and coffee events. You will be responsible for a piece of the success of the operation from setup, sales, support, follow up..
