    RESEARCH & INNOVATION – TRAIT & SCIENCE SUPPORT
    Main Goal

    As a Cell Biology Discovery Technician, working within a team of seven people, you will participate in advancing research and development objectives in the domain of cell biology and in vitro culture discovery, to deliver cell biology tools and methods for the support of breeding. You will carry out the technical phases of cell biology research programs.

    Job description

    Main missions :

    • Conduct the development of cell biology and in vitro culture protocols
    • Work closely with the Cell Biology Discovery Scientists to support current projects
    • Prepare and update experiment files records following guidelines
    • Analyze basic data, summarize results, and take an active part in project progress meetings
    • Perform protocol drafting, be active on continuous development of the processes, roll out to teams.
    • Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments
    • Interact with R&D operations teams for monitoring plant’s developments into the laboratory
    • Keep an inventory of laboratory supplies and request supplies as necessary
    • Comply to laboratory safety protocols and maintain a clean and safe working environment

    Skills: what we expect of you

    • You hold a bachelor’s degree in Cell Biology, In-vitro culture, Biotechnology, or a related field
    • You are familiar with standard techniques in Cell Biology, In-vitro culture (protoplast culture, Haplomethods, micropropagation or cell culture…), and equipment in the domain (flow cytometry, microscopy…)
    • Basic knowledge in Crop improvement is a plus
    • Thoroughness, autonomous, and proactive at work
    • You are a team player and a good communicator
    • You speak English and have an appetence for French
