Job Summary:
We’re looking for an experienced Financial News & Community Editor/Manager to help write and edit investing-related news articles, SEO explainer articles, video and audio scripts, blog posts, etc., for Moomoo’s U.S. retail investors and prospective customers. The person we hire will also curate our News home page, be able to appear in videos and audio podcasts and select licensed content from third-party news providers like WSJ.com for usage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor the news of the day and curate the News home page during assigned hours.
- Write original articles or post third-party material about important developments in broad markets, individual stocks and options trading, such as earnings announcements, Fed meetings, economic indicators, etc.
- Write longer-form SEO how-to articles, audio and video scripts, etc., about investing topics. Appear in videos and audio podcasts if assigned.
- Interact with retail investors in our in-app chat community.
- Assist with developing new news and community products.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, journalism, English or a similar field, or related work experience.
- Five years or more of experience writing and editing content about markets for a financial-services or media company.
- Deep knowledge and a personal interest in markets and investing. An understanding of options investing would be a plus.
- Excellent writing and editing skills. Experience appearing in videos and/or audio podcasts would be a plus, as would Chinese or Japanese language skills.

$80,000 – $100,000
