HOUSING MANAGER

MONTHLY SALARY: $8,051.17 – $10,789.33

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
The City of Baldwin Park is seeking a team player and someone who is passionate, proactive, enthusiastic, and dedicated housing professional to plan, manage, and direct the programs and activities of the Housing Division of the Community Development Department. This position is a key member of the City’s Community Development Team and shall serve at the pleasure of the City Council (at-will) and will report directly to the Community Development Director.

  • Max benefit of 66 2/3 of their current base salary up to $5,000/ mo maximum

DEFERRED COMPENSATION (457 PLAN)

ADMINISTRATIVE LEAVE

  • Maximum of eighty (80) hours
  • Unused time will be paid out during the month of July

HOLIDAYS

  • On January 1st of each year, each employee will be credited with (10) hours of holiday leave.
  • The City observes 12 Holidays.

HOLIDAY BANK

  • EE may accumulate up to a maximum of one hundred (100) hours of holiday bank time.
  • Payout of unused hours in excess of 100 will be removed from the employee’s holiday bank hours accrual on January 1 and paid in their straight time hourly rate no later than June 30

SICK LEAVE & INCENTIVE PROGRAM

  • Accrue 3.693 hours for each pay period
  • Maximum accrual 300 hours, 600 hours or 900 hours
  • Excess hours will be removed from the EE sick leave hours accrual, calculated at their straight time hourly rate, paid at no less or no more than 75% of the total value paid in December

  • 5-10 years, 4.6153 PP (accrual=120 hours, max 240)
