About Us:
Established in 1988, Kubota Manufacturing of America (KMA) is headquartered in Gainesville, Georgia. When KMA began operations in 1988 the first products manufactured were implements. Due to our rapid growth, in 2005 a new company was opened in Jefferson, Georgia. This company now manufactures all tractor implements and performs reassembly of Kubota tractors built in Japan for sale in the U.S. markets. We are making improvements to our production systems and building an innovative but flexible manufacturing structure under our unique culture of a joint U.S. and Japanese leadership team. Through these measures, we are strengthening the operations at our production facilities with the aim of continuing to produce high-quality products.
About the Position:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Intern to join our HR team. This internship provides a valuable opportunity for college students to gain hands-on experience in various HR functions, including employee engagement and administrative support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help maintain employee records and HR databases, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Participate in employee engagement initiatives, including organizing events and surveys to gather feedback.
- Assist with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Conduct research on HR best practices and contribute to various HR projects.
- Provide administrative support to the HR team as needed.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
