The MSC Account Manager will be the primary point of contact responsible for maintaining a strong relationship with our Japanese partner, MSC, in conjunction with critical functional partners (Sales, Product Management, R&D, Professional Services, and Customer Support). As part of building these strong relationships, this role will be heavily focused on ensuring a strong overall partnership experience. The primary focus of the role will be a combination of advisory skills, product knowledge, mobilizing ability, customer focus, and commercial acumen in driving the overall success of the partnership with MSC.

A successful MSC Account Manager helps MSC and DDI associates to successfully engage with one another so that they can establish ongoing, effective partnerships. The Account Manager stays informed of engagements and offers support without removing accountability. The person in this role should be an advocate for communicating and adhering to standard, best-practice processes, although the role may also intervene when appropriate to clarify priorities or further progress. The Account Manager is an escalation point for issues that cannot be resolved at the operational level or for those that rise to the strategic level.


  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders, including executives, HR professionals and learning & development teams. Serve as key point of contact for marshaling of DDI resources.
  • Takes ownership and responsibility over retaining DDI’s partnership with MSC on a YOY basis. Demonstrates proactivity in identifying and meeting MSC needs.
  • Based on the needs of the client, identify, and connect the best DDI resources with MSC partners to quickly execute against the needs.
  • Provide ongoing training, support and guidance to clients on how to maximize effectiveness of our programs within their organizations.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including Sales, Consulting, Project Management & Customer Support to align client objectives and deliver exceptional service.
  • Serve as a customer advocate within the company, championing their needs and priorities to drive product enhancements and strategic initiatives.
  • Seek, listen, and share back customer feedback with DDI’s product and enablement teams, allowing DDI to improve our products and services.
  • Uses understanding of DDI and MSC business functions, the industry, and each organization’s performance goals to help maximize results and limit risk.
  • Communicate relevant Privacy, Security and Compliance updates
  • Communicate relevant product and solution updates “send an edited version of Take5 articles”
  • Connect MSC associates with internal teams at DDI including, but not limited to PSCO, STATS, GRE, Product, Translations, Customer Experience, Technical Support
  • Elevate Service Ready tickets internally if the need is not fulfilled or handled in a timely fashion
  • Manage MSC SharePoint site to house information and key documents related to client-specific/MSC projects in addition to DDI product and solutions
  • Seek opportunities to enhance how MSC and DDI teams work together when supporting client projects
  • Manage all invoicing and forecasting for DDI labor when supporting an MSC client specific projects


  • Minimum 2 years of experience in consulting, project management or account management.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in business, psychology, or related field
  • Broad knowledge of DDI products and services, especially familiarity with assessment solutions
  • Displays high impact communication, strong client management skills and customer focus.
  • Strong influencing skills. Ability to adjust approach based on audience.
  • Highly skilled at quickly mobilizing others to drive execution and achieve client outcomes
  • Comfortable with ambiguity.
  • Maintains confidence and creates practical solutions to manage complexity.
  • Ability to demonstrate value and insight to retain and grow relationships.
  • Commercial acumen and understanding of key levers that drive expansion.
  • Demonstration of high work standards and energy.
  • Ability/willingness to travel

Salary: The anticipated hiring range for this position is listed below.

Variable Pay: 10%
