This is a heartwarming opportunity for compassionate providers who love making a difference! We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.

RESPITE CARE WORKER NEEDED! Elmwood, WI

Do you love helping others and making a difference? We are looking for a respite provider to provide support and supervision to a teenage boy.

This 14-year-old boy likes Computer Games and Xbox System. He is very tech-friendly and likes Japanese culture and learning about travel.

Respite care will be conducted in the provider’s (your) home. Community outings are also encouraged.

WAGE
• $14.13 per hour (shifts under 8 hours)
• $207.45 per day (shifts over 8 hours)

SCHEDULE
• Up to 4 hours a week
• 2 days per month
• Flexible Schedule
• Schedule hours can vary: daytime, evening, and nightshifts.

JOB DUTIES
• Supervision
• Safety awareness
• Prompt Reminders of Activities of Daily Living
• Assistance creating a routine and schedule
• Homework Assistance
• Companionship and Social Engagement
• Provide transportation to/from activities
• Engage with client and encourage appropriate behaviors.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Criminal/Caregiver background check
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance required
• Compassionate individual with child care experience preferred
• Experience working with children with special needs.
