Our client in the education industry is seeking a Creative Learning Technologist to join their team. As a Learning Technologist, you will be part of the Instructional Design team supporting the development of online courses. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in a wide range of learning technologies, including Canvas LMS, H5P, CidiLabs, etc, as well as some knowledge of html/css/javascript and python. Experience in the production of multimedia content and especially the use of AI to produce a range of multimedia content would be beneficial. 10-20% of the time will be experimenting and having FUN!

What’s the Job?

• Design, develop, and implement instructional materials for various online courses using Canvas.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to create high-quality learning content tailored to adult learners in higher education.
• Integrate generative AI tools and strategies into the instructional design process to enhance learning experiences.
• Conduct needs assessments and analyze learning outcomes to improve instructional effectiveness.
• Develop assessment strategies that align with course objectives and measure learner success.

What’s Needed?

• Strong technical expertise in a wide range of learning technologies, including Canvas LMS, H5P, CidiLabs, etc, as well as some knowledge of html/css/javascript and python.
• Experience in the production of multimedia content and especially the use of AI to produce a range of multimedia content would be beneficial.
• Native-level fluency in other languages, such as Mandarin Chinese, Arabic, Spanish or Japanese would be beneficial, with Mandarin being the highest priority.
• Experience in higher education or professional learning is preferred.
• Ability to integrate generative AI tools and strategies into the instructional design process to enhance learning experiences.
