Description

This position performs the assistant work of Buyers (Manager and Assistant Manager of Store Products). Position is responsible for preparation of receiving purchase order and entering receiving. It requires a good communication and flexibility to conduct multiple task processing and frequently change of the priority.

Essential job Functions:

  • Prepare paperwork data entry to book invoices.
  • Print, copy, sort, and scan documents.
  • Track incoming shipments and update the receiving calendar.
  • Assist with inventory quantity checks.
  • Assist in making new item files and Purchase Orders.
  • Assist in preparation and receiving Domestic/Import shipments.
  • Assist procurement of the merchandise.
  • Search for trends and new merchandise.
  • Assist in preparation and perform annual inventory.

Requirements

qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S. or B.A.); or
  • One or two years related experience
  • Must have computer background
  • Basic understanding of the Japanese culture
  • Bilingual in Japanese preferred but not required

  • Able to communicate effectively in English with supervisors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the Company
  • Able to work effectively and relate well with others Including supervisors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the Company
  • Able to do basic arithmetic which includes subtraction, addition, division, multiplication and counting of items. The employee must also be able to analyze and solve simple problems
  • Able to read and comprehend written information
  • Knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Office software, Word, Excel, OneDrive, SharePoint
