Position Summary: The Warehouse Analyst plays a proactive role in managing daily planning, reporting, and KPI’s for warehouse and dock operations. The position is essential for identifying opportunities for process improvement, while recommending and implementing impactful solutions. The Analyst will oversee system management, KPI’s and other reporting, utilizing data from multiple systems to drive operational efficiency. The position will support operations at times utilizing forklift, scanner, or other tools.
Essential Duties:
- Collaborate with logistics and operations teams to understand customer needs, operator productivity, transportation schedules, and inventory flow, creating an efficient plan for the warehouse and dock operations departments.
- Develop standard and ad-hoc reporting to support efficient, resilient, and adaptable supply chain operations that ensure 100% manufacturing throughput is maintained without disruption.
- Conduct audits to ensure data integrity and compliance with established processes.
- Track and analyze KPI metrics, offering insights into operational activities that influence performance trends in dock operations.
- In collaboration with Business Transformation team and IT, develop, support, and improve the integration of multiple ERP/WMS systems.
- Evaluate, analyze, and communicate systems requirements on a continuing basis, and maintain systems processes, including the delivery of monthly status reports to all appropriate parties.
- Partner across functional areas (ex: supply chain, finance, compliance, 3PL) to develop analyses and documentation in a collaborative way, communicating effectively and efficiently with contractor, production, and executive teams.
- Maintain positive and timely communication with internal departments and external contacts to ensure alignment and operational efficiency.
- Actively participate in the continuous improvement process, contributing innovative ideas and implementing best practices.
- Actively support shipping/receiving operations at times using forklift, scanner, or other tools.
- Undertake additional projects as needed by the Supply Chain Management (SCM) organization.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements:
- To ensure the health and safety in the workplace and for the protection of our employees’, wearing PPE is a possibility and includes equipment such as a full Tyvek suit, safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, face mask, and a full hazmat suit that includes a respirator.

Qualifications: Requirements – Required and/or Preferred
Education
- Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, or a closely related field
- Preferred: MBA
Essential Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Distribution/Warehouse, Logistics, Data Analytics, Supply Chain Operations, or other data-driven relatable environments.
- High proficiency with data visualization tools and database management
- Strong organizational skills demonstrated keen attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and prioritize work responsibilities with a sense of urgency to ensure timely completion of deadlines.
- Self-directed and capable of proactively identifying and resolving discrepancies or potential issues.
- Excellent communication skills, with an ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Ability to communicate across all levels of the organization as well as externally to customers and suppliers.
- Ability to communicate cross-culturally with Japanese colleagues and business leaders in English.
- Strategic thinking and analysis capabilities including identifying risks and opportunities throughout SCM.
- Ability to solve complex problems and propose alternative solutions.
- Proficient in computer technology and programs, with a strong emphasis on analytical capabilities and advanced MS Office skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) such as Synapse and SAP is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning Systems (ERP), particularly SAP, is beneficial.

- APICS CPIM/CSCP/CLTD certifications
- Certification in Lifting Equipment
