Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Strive towards the seamless running of the facility and the equipment for Marukai and Tokyo Central facilities through efficient facility management work.
- Work as a repair project leader and implement periodic investigations and inspections into each and every piece of physical equipment of the company.
- Adhere to safety standards and legal regulations while executing maintenance management tasks and programs.
- Maintain professional relationships with venders and 3rd parties to smooth the maintenance projects and the speed of the process.
- Assistant the section manager and department manager for quotation, vendor selection, and negotiation about the service agreements or parts procurement.
- Train, guide and evaluate store team as a coach of maintenance if needed.
- Document and submit reports to the supervisor or department manager, regarding budgets, progress and time schedules
- Support the store managers to train and reinforce quality assurance procedures expectations. Make sure store employees are following all product safety requirements especially food safety.
- Support the store manager and Quality Assurance manager about the emergency case. Train and monitor emergency plan for power outage, sewage backup, no fresh water.
- Assistant the store managers and maintenance team in finding equipment, fixes, products to solve the quality situation, improve and smooth store operations in line with industry regulation or compliance.
- Recognize areas of improvement in the facilities maintenance jobs in hand and their processes. Creating preventive maintenance procedures and checklists
- Other tasks as assigned by the Manager regarding Quality Assurance area.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a similar discipline is desirable.
- Prior experience working as maintenance technician or maintenance supervisor, or in a related role
- Experience in dealing with budgets, schedules and reporting in terms of maintenance work
- Strong knowledge facilities machines and equipment
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be detail oriented
- Proficiency in AutoCAD software or tools
- Can effectively and efficiently handle both administrative and mechanical responsibilities.
- Makes safety a priority at all times
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Suite) and a solid understanding of data analysis software
Certificates & Licenses:
- California State Driver’s License
Language Ability:
- Speak, Read and Write English fluently is must
- Japanese bilingual skill will be plus
Work Environment:
- Indoor (Artificial Lighting; Air Conditioned)
- Outdoor (Store parking area, and/or travel between stores)
- Noise Level is moderate
