Position Summary:
As the Global Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by managing and expanding relationships with enterprise clients in the financial and healthcare verticals. You will act as a trusted advisor, aligning our data center solutions with the unique needs of these industries. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong relationship management skills, and the ability to navigate complex, global sales environments.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Revenue Growth
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for financial and healthcare clients.
Identify and qualify new business opportunities within assigned accounts and prospects.
Drive the sales process from lead generation to contract closure, ensuring alignment with customer needs.
2. Account Management
Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in client organizations.
Conduct regular account reviews and provide clients with insights and recommendations for leveraging our services.
Act as the primary point of contact, addressing customer inquiries, challenges, and escalations promptly.
3. Industry Expertise
Understand the regulatory, operational, and security requirements of financial and healthcare sectors.
Tailor solutions to meet industry-specific needs, including compliance with HIPAA, GDPR, PCI DSS, and other relevant standards.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies impacting data center usage in these verticals.
4. Collaboration & Reporting
Collaborate with internal teams, including product management, marketing, and operations, to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Provide regular sales forecasts, market intelligence, and performance reports to leadership.
Participate in global account planning and contribute to the overall sales strategy for data center services.
5. Market & Customer Development
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings to promote our solutions.
Develop and present proposals, RFPs, and customized solutions to meet client requirements.
Foster cross-border collaboration to maximize opportunities for global accounts.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
5+ years of sales experience in global data centers, cloud, or IT infrastructure industries, with a focus on enterprise accounts.
Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales quotas in the financial or healthcare verticals.
Strong understanding of compliance and operational challenges in financial and healthcare industries.
Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
Experience working in cross-functional, global teams and managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales tools.
Willingness to travel as required (up to 50% of the time).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with Fortune 500 companies in the financial and healthcare sectors.
Familiarity with global colocation, hybrid cloud, and interconnectivity solutions.
Certification or training in sales methodologies such as SPIN, MEDDIC, or Challenger.
$120,000 – $150,000 a year
