Responsibilities
Ability to effectively communicate with the customer to properly prepare necessary documents to coordinate a residential or organizational move.
- Must speak fluent Japanese
- Customer Service; ability to effectively communication with the customer to complete necessary documents required for the move
- Quote the customer move per company procedure
- Ensure all documentation relating to shipment is properly completed as required
- Interact closely with the other moving team members in preparation of the customer move
- Ensure proper packing, removing and loading of customer’s goods
- Establish and maintain a professional working relationship with the other moving team members
- Have a good driving record, will be required to drive customer vehicle to quote customer jobs and assist customer with packaging needs prior to move
- General business support function as assigned
Qualifications
- Ability to clearly communicate with customer that can only speak Japanese
- Ability to clearly communicate with co-workers of the moving team
- Ability to work overtime to meet the customer needs
- Strong customer service skills
- At least 1 year of experience in HHG moving
- Must have a current drivers license with a good driving record
Organization Relationships:
Will work with all levels in the organization as well as Customers.
Work Environment:
(With or without accommodations) This position is predominantly at the work site (customer house) packing/unpacking, loading/unloading truck, comunicating with Japanese customers and other staff members of what work needs to be done.
