Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$117,000 – $171,600

The Manufacturing Finance Innovation Associate Director will lead, influence and coordinate across Manufacturing Sites, Central Manufacturing Finance, Import and Export Compliance, and Corporate Finance teams to standardize, simplify, and drive innovation and automation solutions for Finance processes across planning, forecasting, reporting, product costing, and capital.
Key Objectives/Responsibilities:
- Lead the Manufacturing Finance Innovation Hub by defining and focusing on opportunities, priorities, and action plans.
- Develop and lead innovation governance with Manufacturing Finance leadership, ensuring alignment with global innovation roadmaps and cross-functional teams (e.g. Tech at Lilly, Corporate Finance, GBS, Global Supply Chain).
- Foster an innovation culture and drive capability building across global Manufacturing Finance and US Import and Export Compliance teams.
- Accelerate the implementation of global innovative solutions to standardize and streamline business processes reducing manual effort and increasing accuracy.
- Represent Manufacturing Finance on the Finance Innovation Functional Champions Network to ensure alignment and appropriately focus resources.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously drive innovation.
Basic Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Management, Finance, Business Analytics, or related business fields.
Minimum of 6 years of Finance or related work experience.
Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Lilly will not provide support for or sponsor work authorization and/or visas for this role.
Additional Skills/Capabilities/Preferences:
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R), SAP, and digital capabilities (PowerBI, Power Automate).
- Demonstrated high learning agility with analytical skills.
- Strong project management skills with a proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and inspire change in a fast-paced environment.

This position is located in Indianapolis, IN.
International travel may be necessary.
