Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$76,500 – $138,600

Responsibilities

Overview:

Lilly provides a unique opportunity to work in the Clinical Design, Delivery and Analytics (CDDA) organization, dedicated to planning and delivering Lilly’s clinical development programs. Our internship program helps us identify future technical talent and leaders allowing interns to gain technical expertise and understanding of the clinical development process, experience our culture and see the variety of career paths available at Lilly.

We are looking for students majoring in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering, pharmaceutics or a related discipline to join our team of scientists. With Lilly you will have an opportunity to diversify your skillset while contributing to cutting edge research. Your work may include but not limited to the following:

  • Clinical Trial Planning and Design
  • Clinical Trial Investigator Selection and Oversight
  • Patient Recruitment and Enrollment
  • Clinical Diagnostic and Laboratory Science
  • Clinical Statistics, Data Analysis & Data Management
  • Clinical Systems Management
  • Medical Writing, Communication and Documentation
  • Clinical Supply and Delivery
  • Clinical Trial Budgeting and Financial Management
  • Clinical Research Training and Education

The positions are located at our corporate headquarters in Indianapolis, IN. Work at Lilly will provide the opportunity to actively contribute to the CDDA organization, build a more comprehensive understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, and the role Eli Lilly and Company scientists play in delivering innovative medicines to patients.

Basic Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Enrolled in an Masters or PhD program with a concentration in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related discipline.
  • Expected graduation by May 2026
  • Successful completion of Clinical Talent Development Program Internship

Additional Preferences:

  • Team player with excellent communication skills
  • Previous laboratory or pharmaceutical research experience
