Job Description:
This is an opportunity for a graduate to join B2C2 and to assume trading responsibility within their first year.
You will learn from experienced traditional finance and crypto professionals with combined experience of 50+ years in the industry. We are a uniquely skilled team, covering both sell-side OTC client flow with high-frequency market making, with a range of product that keeps expanding.
After initial training, a Graduate Trader will be responsible for the daily management of the central risk book:
• Manage the algorithms that make markets on crypto exchanges and to clients.
• Monitor opportunities and dislocations in markets as they present themselves, taking decisive action to capture value.
• Manage the overall market risk of the portfolio.
• Work closely with B2C2’s developers and operations team to ensure smooth operation of the franchise.
• Analyse our bespoke data to identify patterns and improve our trading and algorithms.
What we’re looking for:
• Degree from a top tier university in relevant quantitative field.
• Clear communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced fluid environment and strive under pressure.
• An entrepreneurial and ambitious approach with an intuition for risk.
• Keen interest in financial and crypto markets.
• Proficiency in Python or Java a plus.
Requirements:
• Demonstration of honesty, integrity and good reputation.
• Excellent teamwork and relationship management skills and a demonstrated ability to work both on own initiative and as part of a team.
• Ability to develop new skills and understand market developments as required.
• Aware of the importance of considering risk management and compliance issues.
