    What We Need:

    Obagi is seeking a culturally sensitive and open-minded International Marketing Manager to drive Obagi’s growth across South Pacific Asia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and overseeing international marketing initiatives to drive business and increase brand awareness across all go-to-market regions and channels.

    What You’ll Do:

    • Act as the key POC / coordinator with Marketing, Regulatory, Global Operations, and local teams in the SAPAC / China region
    • Organize and conduct meeting with local and corporate teams on a regular cadence (weekly, biweekly, or monthly)
    • Resolve any issues with corporate teams for the region, especially concerning supply and registration
    • Update local teams on new products and reformulation pipelines
    • Partner with local team to build brand DNA, respecting local insights and market context
      1. Provide relevant context including history, values, trends and future objectives of the division within the market
      2. Design, implement, and manage full plan development across SAPAC
      3. Generate ideas and concepts for products that are innovative and revolutionary to professional skincare
      4. Identify current trends in the region (consumer & professional)
      5. Ensure brand development remains consistent while accommodating cultural nuances and addressing localized needs.
      6. Collaborate with Education, R&D, Corporate, and relevant countries in refining new ideas and concepts
      7. Research and conduct competitive analysis to continuously revise and improve market developments
    • Determine viability of concepts (sizing, fit to brand) and work with Global Marketing to get them into global pipeline

    What You’ll Need:

    • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Marketing, Advertising, International Business, Communication, or related field
    • 5-7+ years of relevant marketing and business development experience within the skincare/beauty/CPG industry
    • Demonstrated success operating in the global marketplace with an elevated sensitivity to cultural differences and nuances
    • Professional fluency in at least 2+ regional/local dialects (Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai, Tagalog, etc…)
    • Exceptional organizational and prioritization/time management skills; demonstrated ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
    • Comfortable operating in a fast paced, ever-changing environment; someone who thrives in ambiguity and adapts quickly
      • Available and willing to travel as needed (passport required for international travel)
    • Possess an energetic, positive attitude that encourages a team and supports the growth and professional
    • development of others.
