The EDI Technician enters all requirements into our Oracle ERP system to produce accurate and timely packing slips for shipments. Assembles, files and forwards associated bills and labels. This position is for C Shift (2:30 pm – 11:00 pm cst).

Responsibilities:

  • Review and reconcile scheduled shipment information; translate incoming shipments.
  • Reconcile ASNs, making necessary corrections to file and generate ASNs from barcoded information.
  • Generate labels for shipments/production as needed.
  • Monitor shipment accuracy of all outbound materials.
  • Maintain departmental goal of 100% shipping performance accuracy.
  • Maintain 5S performance level.
  • Schedule pickups via customer portals.
  • Use (Oracle) reports and applicable screens to troubleshoot, research, identify, and resolve and/or esculate EDI issues.
  • Communicate customer requirements daily as transmitted or as changes are identified.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one year plus related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook.
  • Experience with ERP Systems (Oracle) is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer service focus is required.
  • Ability to multi-task, be organized and follow up on open issues.
