    Sushi by Bou is seeking a skilled and passionate Maki Chef to join our expanding team. In this role, you’ll foster strong team collaboration, enhance the customer experience, and contribute to the growth and success of the brand.

    Compensation: $23+ per hour

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage inventory levels for a wide range of raw fish and other ingredients
    • Prepare all types of sushi including nigiri, sashimi, & handrolls
    • Attention to detail in the food preparation process, mastering quality control
    • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
    • Foster a climate of cooperation and respect between co-workers

    Qualifications:

    • 1+ years Japanese cuisine experience
    • Ability to listen to and facilitate special requests from our clients
    • Exceptional and proven sushi workspace management ability
    • Strength in dividing responsibilities and monitoring progress
    • Outstanding communication skills
    • Ability to create a positive, fun, and exciting environment by interacting with our clients
    • Up to date with culinary trends and sushi preparation processes’
