    We are looking for a Line Cook to join our team!

    Golden Gai is a recently opened, high end space focusing on izakaya and sushi. It is part of the Richard DeShantz Restaurant Group which includes Meat & Potatoes, Butcher and the Rye, Tako, Tako Torta, Sally Ann’s, Fish nor Fowl, Coop de Ville, and Poulet Bleu.

    We are looking for candidates who are committed and hard-working. They like being part of a close-knit team, and enjoy the excitement that comes from working under pressure. We hope to find team-oriented people who want to be with us long-term, and are interested in growing their skills and responsibilities in the future.

    Requirements:

    -Open availability including evenings and weekends
    -2+ years working in a high-volume, upscale restaurant environment.
    -Sushi / Japanese cusine experience is a big advantage!
    -Passion for excellence, superior service standards, and a positive attitude with a teamplayer mindset
    -Ability to work under pressure
    -Must be able to stand, walk, and move during the entire shift including frequent bending and stooping

    Minimum USD hourly rate: 17.00
    Maximum USD hourly rate: 21.00
