TDI is currently seeking an Analyst, Due Diligence & Investigations to join our Due Diligence and Investigations (DD&I) practice in Washington, D.C. This role involves conducting and managing detailed investigative research and analysis to deliver high-quality client reports that address regulatory risks and inform critical business decisions.

Job Responsibilities

The Analyst, Due Diligence & Investigations will have the following responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed research on entities and/or individuals of interest.
  • Understand specific client requests and produce custom risk-analytic reports.
  • Task and manage external sources as required.
  • Review open source or records-based due diligence reports to ensure client readiness.
  • Mentor and train junior research staff members as needed.
  • Process and store sensitive information, including PII, in accordance with Information Management System policies. Promptly report potential security incidents to the Information Technology team.

Qualifications (Candidates will be asked to complete a diagnostic test to assess these capabilities)

The ideal candidate for the Analyst, Due Diligence & Investigations position will possess the following:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in international relations, political science, regional studies, criminal justice, business, or related area of study.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of relevant professional experience (including internships), specifically researching and analyzing risk issues.
  • Skills:
    • Outstanding English-language writing, research, and analytical abilities, with the capacity to distill complex information concisely.
    • Exceptional attention to detail.
    • Demonstrated client focus and a solutions-oriented mindset.
    • Creative problem-solving abilities with exceptional reading, writing, and analytical skills; candidates will be asked to complete a diagnostic test to this effect.
    • Excellent time management and the ability to handle multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
    • Strong interpersonal and project management skills.
    • Ability to review and refine team outputs effectively.
    • Professional proficiency in a foreign language, with an emphasis on Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Portuguese, and Spanish (preferred).

Location: Washington, DC | Monday – Friday 9am – 6pm

Compensation: $55,000 – $63,000 annualized
