Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$114,000 – $181,500
The Associate Director, RTP Facilities Program Management will manage operational readiness for expansion activities and implement overall facilities management programs and governance for the RTP facilities. Transformation mapping for site infrastructure to support future site scale and growth (i.e. local capital program, administrative areas, cafeteria services, desk space).
Responsibilities:
- Effectively partner with site FUME team and Global Facilities Delivery to triage issues as they arise and drive decision making associated with the Phase 2 Expansion; lead the operational readiness for the non-GMP areas and facilities aspects of the Phase 2 expansion at the RTP site.
- Leverage historical experience and network of resources in Lilly Facilities and Maintenance to establish and improve site programs at RTP
- Establish performance metrics and governance to measure performance of facilities services; identify opportunities for continuous improvement and efficiency improvement.
- Understand when and how to appropriately raise issues to teams and to stakeholders. Keep both team members and stakeholders engaged at the right level of detail. Guide informed decision making for the site lead team.
- Establish Local Capital Program governance to enable execution of capital project agenda.
- Participate in or lead continuous improvement projects, which significantly impact the work and/or effectiveness of the facilities.
- Mentor site technical talent (engineering, project management, safety, and leadership)
Basic Requirements:
- BS in an engineering discipline
- 10+ years of manufacturing facilities, maintenance, and capital project leadership
- Must be succinct communicator with fluency in English (written and spoken)
Additional Preferences:
- Understanding of facility programs, including management of decision making for large (>$10M) capital and expense budgets
- Supervisory experience
- Practical experience in project management of cross-functional projects
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional team(s) and together solve complex problems
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex issues timely, accurately, and succinctly
- Strong understanding of Lilly safety, maintenance, and capital asset delivery programs.
