Position summary:

Administer and facilitate Corporate level meetings and related events. Act as liaison and communication hub to relevant top management team in relation to meeting schedule. This position also provides translation and interpretation in Japanese and English language at confidential level within the organization.

Qualifications/Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Associates Degree and 4+ years’ experience
  • Fluent in Japanese and English (business level)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
  • Able to translate and interpret, ability to simultaneous interpretate preferred
  • Fluent in Japanese and English in business level in verbal and in writing, proficient in Microsoft Office applications. (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, etc.), knowledge in advanced Finance, Accounting, and Management concepts.
  • Administrative skills is a plus.

Primary Position Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate, prepare for and support meetings including New Model evaluation, Sales & Production Meeting (SP), and Americas Region Presidents’ Meeting, etc.
  • Prepare and update schedules and general information.
  • Translate and/or interpret English and Japanese.
  • Coordinate and supervise other Interpretation/Translation work within the Division.
  • Coordinate meetings among TSAM and other group companies.
  • Provides communication among members and/or responsible individuals within TS group companies.
  • Other miscellaneous/irregular duties and projects as assigned.

Reporting to this position:

  • Report to Manufacturing Admin Section manager.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Environmental conditions -Open office environment. May be exposed to moderate noise levels.
  • Vocal Communication-required expressing or exchanging ideas by means of spoken word and/or detailed or loud talking to convey detailed or important spoken instructions to others accurately, loudly or quickly.
  • Hearing Perception-Ability to recognize information at normal spoken levels and/or ability to receive detailed information through oral communications and/or make fine distinctions in sound.
  • Sensory Utilization-Prepare and analyze written or computer data.
  • Physical Activities-required standing, walking and sitting as well as using hands to finger, handle or feel. May occasionally reach with hands and arms. May be required to lift to 30 lbs. unassisted.
  • Visual Acuity-there are no special vision requirements.
