We seek a Product Support Specialist with a passion for baseball and strong proficiency in the Japanese language to support our work with Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) teams. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of baseball, particularly within the NPB, fluency in Japanese, and experience communicating with technical and non-technical audiences.

This role is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to help pioneer the next frontier in sports and to contribute to the continued rapid scaling of one of the fastest-growing companies in sports technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with our Japan-based clients to understand their needs and deliver product support.
  • Prepare and maintain data and product documentation, including explanations of technical concepts, in both Japanese and English.
  • Apply a strong understanding of baseball, with special emphasis on NPB, to inform data analysis and support validation of platform releases.
  • Provide language translation support for both virtual meetings and asynchronous communication channels (e.g., Slack) shared with partner teams.
  • Perform ad-hoc data analysis.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively in a distributed work environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Fluency in Japanese (both written and spoken) at a business level and proficiency in English.
  • Deep understanding of baseball, particularly in the NPB, including its structure, rules, and key performance metrics.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with an established record as an effective collaborator.
  • Familiarity with Agile project management, version control, and related software (e.g. Jira).
  • Knowledge of how data and analytics are used to support player and team performance, ideally through front-office experience.
  • Experience with relational databases and data analysis techniques and/or familiarity with mathematical and statistical programming (Python and/or R) is a plus.

The pay range for this role is:

65,000 – 80,000 USD per year (Remote – United States)
