Job Description
– Teach 16-20 regular classes per week
– Develop and implement instructional programs
– Participate in school events and extracurricular activities
– Chaperon students off-campus a few times per year
– Work on some weekends/holidays for school functions
– Participate in committees and other assigned school roles
– Engage in general school duties like meetings, exam proctoring, and emergency support
Requirements
– Bachelor’s degree in Social Studies or related field (Master’s preferred)
– State Teaching Certification is plus
– Extensive knowledge of Japanese History and Government
– Classroom teaching experience preferred
– Ability to develop lesson plans and assessments independently
