Description

BASIC FUNCTIONS

Ensuring customer order requirements are met or exceeded through operational delivery. Manage all stages in supply chain from purchase to delivery. This goal is successful on-time delivery while minimizing the total operational cost. Quickly strategize and coordinate resources using support tools provided by the company. Meet company and customer expectations using best practices within company processes and procedures.

Proficiency in conversational and written Japanese and/or Spanish required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Deliver personalized customer service while meeting company sales goals of imported product line.
  • Interpret written or spoken material into one or more other languages. Ensure meaning and context are maintained.
  • Communicate with overseas operations, vendors, suppliers and customers.
  • Issue purchase orders for resale products from overseas operations.
  • Facilitate the managerial approval of purchase orders for import/resale product.
  • Process third party inventory releases for resale products by managing all documentation/communication with warehousing and logistics partners.
  • Customer purchase order reconciliation for ERP o/e. Includes verification of part number, pricing and incoterms.
  • Provide accurate Order Confirmations for customer PO as needed.
  • Maintain daily open order customer files and submit reports to customer when required.
  • Maintain daily customer inventory files and submit reports to management and customer when required.
  • Monthly reconciliation of third party located inventory, sales forecast updates as requested.
  • Cross training with other departments.
  • Investigate and provide supporting documents of all third-party inventory discrepancies for adjustment.
  • Proactive in identifying cost saving opportunities.
  • Assist in reduction of administrative non value added processes.
  • Compile statistics and prepare various reports for management.
  • Some travel may be required.
  • May attend virtual or off-site seminars.
  • Various other duties as assigned.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Training: BA/BS or 2+ years of experience working in a customer service focused environment. Proficiency in conversational and written Japanese and/or Spanish required.

Experience: Two to five years of customer account management and logistics.

ERP order processing experience in a manufacturing environment.

Skills/Aptitude: Adobe and Microsoft office proficiency (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams). Strong problem-solving skills, excellent written, verbal and communication skills. Ability to handle complexity and attention to detail.

Working Conditions: Office environment.

Salary Description

$24 to $32 per hour
