The Facility Appearance Team Member is responsible for completing the safe and efficient maintenance of both the plant building facilities and infrastructure (at the AW Texas automatic transmission manufacturing facility. In addition, the Team Member will directly contribute to the following Facilities objectives: 1) Exterior and Interior appearance maintenance of the facility and property, including pressure washing, lawn care, trash pickup, etc. 2) Perform various repairs and general maintenance tasks (painting, using riding scrubber etc.)

• Under supervision will maintain the facility appearance.
• Operate equipment (zero turn mower, pressure washer, backpack blower, weed eater, etc.) to support maintenance activities
• Remove trash or debris from the exterior of the facility
• Assist with painting various areas of the exterior
• Assist with Irrigation repairs as needed
• Follow all Facility safety rules/standards
• Provide accurate information compiled from checklists, inspections, etc.
• Establish and maintain productive and effective working relationships with ATX Team Members, outside contractors and Japanese Facilities team members
• Support the ATX facility at-large in emergency situations

Other facility related duties as assigned

• High school Diploma or GED required
• 1 or more years of experience in equipment, facilities or general maintenance is required

Experience in a cross-cultural working environment is a plus
