MILA has exceeded expectations in its initial two years, achieving remarkable success despite pandemic-related challenges, and securing the #5 spot in The Restaurant Business Top 100 ranking. Building on this success, RDG has expanded into new concepts including AVA MediterrAegean in Winter Park, Florida, CASA NEOS on the Miami River (opened June 2024), and MM, a Membership Community. Upcoming projects include NOORA and Claudie (scheduled for fall 2024), AVA’s second location in Coconut Grove (2025), and HONŌ Japanese Steakhouse (2026).

Summary:
This role is pivotal in enhancing our brand presence, driving strategic partnerships, and ensuring effective communication both internally and externally. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in communication strategies, partnership development, and a passion for the hospitality industry.
Requirements/Qualifications:
1. Communication Strategy:
- Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
- Oversee all internal and external communications, ensuring consistency and alignment with the company’s vision and values.
- Manage media relations, including press releases, media inquiries, and interview coordination.
- Work with PM and Social Media team to ensure the creation of engaging content for various platforms, including social media, newsletters, and the company website.
- Monitor and analyze communication metrics to refine strategies and achieve desired outcomes.
2. Partnership Development:
- Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships to drive brand growth and enhance guest experiences.
- Negotiate and manage partnership agreements, ensuring mutual benefit and alignment with company goals.
- Collaborate with marketing PM, Director of Programming and sales teams to leverage partnerships for promotional campaigns and events.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including industry influencers, corporate partners, and community organizations.
3. Crisis Management:
- Develop and implement crisis communication plans to protect and preserve the company’s reputation.
- Act as the primary point of contact for crisis communication, providing timely and accurate information to stakeholders.
- Coordinate with legal and executive teams to manage sensitive issues and mitigate potential risks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in communication and partnership roles, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful communication strategies.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in digital communication tools and platforms.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
