Waterstone Resort Marina, a Curio Collection by Hilton property, managed by Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service-orientedHost / Hostessto join our team! PM Shifts (3pm-11pm) – weekends holiday shifts availability is a must.! Our resort is on the Boca Inlet overlooking the Boca Bay.Modern Japanese restaurant, Kasumi is settled within our Heart of Hospitality, the Heart of our Resort. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Guest Reception: Greet guests warmly and courteously upon arrival, providing a memorable first impression
• Reservation Management: Manage reservations efficiently, ensuring optimal seating arrangements and timely table turnover
• Seating Coordination: Escort guests to their tables, presenting menus
• Waitlist Management: Manage the waitlist during peak hours, communicating wait times accurately to guests
• Service Flow: Coordinate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth and efficient service flow
• Guest Assistance: Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, providing excellent customer service
• Ambiance Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the entrance, waiting area, and dining room
• Phone Handling: Answer phone calls professionally, taking reservations and addressing guest inquiries
• Special Requests: Accommodate special seating requests and arrangements for large parties or special occasions
• Perform various other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of High School education
• Minimum of one (1) year in similar role preferred
• Food Handler Alcohol Awareness Certification preferred, or able to obtain

• Communication: Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Professionalism: Professional appearance and demeanor, with a commitment to maintaining the restaurant’s high standards
• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail
• Guest Focus: Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and approachable attitude
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with reservation and system such as OpenTable
• Availability: Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
