EMUS is looking for a bilingual (Japanese/English) Industrial Engineer. Working at EMUS as an Industrial Engineer, you will be given the opportunity to apply your technical knowledge and skills in a fast-paced, safety-conscious manufacturing environment in our Toner Department in our Lawrenceville campus.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish new product preparation plan, investigate investment, expense, install and set-up equipment with industrial standards used in manufacturing processes
  • Recommend process modifications to improve production efficiency, manufacturing techniques and production yields for existing products
  • Involve in continuous improvement of current operation to improve production performance and quality
  • Design and establish drawings for fixtures, tools and locally purchased parts
  • Support and perform Kaizen activity as a manufacturing engineer in all the types of manufacturing (preparation, filling, and assembly)
  • Multifunction printer knowledge and understanding the electrophotographic process is a plus
  • Familiarity with print quality terminology and able to perform print quality evaluation is a plus
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and process problems, determine the root cause of equipment failures/problems, implement countermeasures and verify effectiveness
  • Support the continuous improvement of existing production lines through ECRs, ECOs, product quality evaluations and issues, and quickly respond to ergonomic and safety related issues.
  • Create and modify assembly process, troubleshooting, start-up, equipment setup documents and other procedures
  • Create and/or modify preventive maintenance documents, troubleshooting guides, start-up procedures
  • Prepare schedules for preventive maintenance as per manufacturing company’s equipment manuals
  • Prepare and present report with detailed root cause analysis and supporting data
  • Prepare training materials to train production and maintenance personnel on the usage and maintenance of equipment
  • Infrequent travel to Baja Mexico may be necessary – 1 to 2 times per year
