Oiles America Corporation, an innovator in self-lubricating bearing technologies, is seeking a Injection Mold Mixer between the hours of 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM for our North Carolina facility. The ideal candidate is responsible for mixing material, complete molding condition sheets, and performing daily 5S duties. Assist with other department responsibilities when needed. Qualification Requirements

  • High School or GED required
  • Formal/continuing education in IM processing preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to read and understand mixing recipes
  • Knowledgeable in the use of measuring devices and weigh scales (basic metrology)
  • Ability to use measuring devices such as calipers, gauges, etc.
  • Basic quality/inspection skills
  • Must have the ability to read, write and understand English in a manner that is sufficient for effective communication to accomplish responsibilities and tasks
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to understand and follow written procedures and processes
  • Basic computer skills (Excel)

Essential Functions

Material Mixing

  • Identify material required for mixing
  • Mix material as required and record material usage on material mixing log
  • Store material appropriately with proper identification/labeling
  • Empty grinders as needed; organize and dispose of regrind appropriately

Quality

  • Perform visual inspection of materials
  • Transfer raw materials and move finished product as needed
  • Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of nonconformities relating to product, process and quality system

Administrative

  • Accurately record mixed badges, scrap, defect information, downtime and lot control.
  • Perform 5’S Checklist duties
