    Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
    $25.60 – $42.67

    Position Brand Description:

    To provide line leadership in IDAP Operations. The Lead Operator is responsible for the daily operations, safety of the line, development of operators, ensuring compliance with all policies/procedures, ensuring resources are scheduled accordingly per the production plan. Lead Operator position is for Day Shift.

    Key Objectives/Deliverables:

    • Provides leadership on packaging floor ensuring high level of Safety, Quality, and productivity to maintain reliable supply of products to patients.
    • Technical Leader in Apollo: Key resource for troubleshooting and functions as the primary point of contact when Supervisor is not available.
    • Committed to continuous improvement: Drives key departmental objectives including improving Safety performance, reducing deviations, and improving productivity.
    • Resource for Assembly and Packaging operators: Key liaison between operations and support groups.
    • Working Apollo knowledge: Operates the equipment and leads shift operations as required to meet production schedule.
    • Ensure strict compliance with established policies/procedures and stays up to date on training.
    • Provides training and mentoring to operators.
    • Assists in checking documentation (Master Packaging orders, logbooks, cleaning tickets, SAP, and PMX).

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Demonstrated leadership skills.
    • Ability to effectively communicate.
    • Flexibility and problem-solving skills.
    • Decision-making skills and ability to exert good judgment.
    • Knowledge of computer applications including SAP and PMX.
    • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks.
    • Ability to work independently or in a Team environment and have a cooperative behavior.
    • The ability to match or detect differences between colors, including shades of color and brightness (visual color determination).
    • 1+ years of experience as a Back Up Line Leader (BULL)

    Additional Preferences:

    • Attention to detail and general understanding of cGMP and Quality Systems.
    • Previous Pharmaceutical Packaging experience (2 yrs.).
    • Apollo Packaging and Assembly Experience.

    Education Requirements:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent.

    Other Information:

    • Position may work with various Lilly products.
