Japanese-English Bilingual Administrative Assistant with Strong Attention to Detail Skills needed for Big Project at a Fairly Big Japanese Organization!!!
A Japanese Organization is currently on the lookout for Japanese English Bilingual Administrative Assistant to join their team for their Los Angeles, CA location. This is a Temporary position available until March of 2025, but based on performance, the contract could be extended further.
This organization is looking for a candidate to support them by doing several different administrative tasks relating to a big project the company is currently planning. The right candidate will be part of that program.
BOE on and skills, the salary range will be around the 41k-43k. This position does require fluency in Japanese as there will a lot of communication with Japanese people as well as the willingness to work 7-10 hour shifts depending on how busy things become.

Your essential duties for this position would include the following:
Communication & Coordination:
Liaise with contracted companies, partner organizations, and headquarters (via email, phone, etc.).
Meeting Support:
Schedule and organize internal and external meetings (in-person or online), attend meetings as needed, participate in discussions, and prepare meeting minutes.
Event Support:
Assist with event-related tasks, including attendance and operational support.
Report Preparation & Fiscal Support:
Support the preparation of various reports and assist with settlement procedures for the fiscal year.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Contact stakeholders to coordinate appointments (via email, phone, etc.).
Document Management:
Create, edit, and manage documents (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) required for all assigned tasks.
Please consider the following qualifications when applying
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience.
– Completion of the organization’s compliance training (e-learning) and adherence to compliance policies.
– Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate smoothly with internal staff and external stakeholders.
– Ability to take initiative and manage tasks independently with supervisor guidance.
– Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel (including basic formulas), PowerPoint, and familiar with Teams, Zoom, and other general PC tools.
– Understanding of the differences between Japanese and U.S. business practices.
– Fluency in Japanese and English.
