Job Description
Responsible for tracking all financial number, expenses and franchise data to help navigating the department decisions. This role needs to understand the market trend as well as company all the activity such as events and product sales in order to find out the best practice of the process of tracking the number. With that, he/she needs to be working very closely with all brand departments, accounting team and corporate to find the solution if necessary. In long-term, this role also help to analyze the growth opportunity applying to BNTCA core competency and corporate strategy.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Create IP Strategy -Marketing and Strategy Department

  • Work with department head or your supervisor to set up the right process of invoice receive.
  • Work closely with accounting team to track the payment and accruals necessary.
  • Work closely with event team to file all the invoice coming from agency and Japan team
  • Share quarterly IP trend information to entire company including brand team and sales team.
  • Set up and help to coordinate all meetings.
  • Help event team to run the event on site.
  • Create the file to track down all the data.
  • Work with department head or your supervisor to review IP strategy at least twice a year and present to the executives(October and March)
  • Work with department head or your supervisor to analyze internal data and external data.
  • Work with department head or your supervisor to create the strategic matrix with IP, Retailers, Consumers, Categories and Item to maximize the one company.
  • Communicate with all the brand team and Japan team to obtain the brand information and product information.
  • Select the best product mix based on the franchise and retailer strategy.
  • Work closely with media department in Japan to get latest information.
  • Work closely with major licensors and agencies to obtain appropriate franchise information.
  • Set up strategic meeting with event team to execute the strategy to the public.
  • Be part of responsible for overall Franchise KPI and monitor them to achieve the goal.
  • Understands trade needs and their retail operations to provide specific assistance to driving the team in meeting their objectives.
  • Supports ongoing business opportunities and issues.
  • Analyzes marketing programs and adjusts strategy and tactics to increase effectiveness.
  • Works closely with analysis team to understand retail sales and competition.

Market Analysis – Marketing and Strategy department

  • Financial tracking and processing
  • Regularly analyze sell through data or sell in data to see the trend of IP or category.

Licensing Management – Marketing and Strategy department

  • Conduct regular partner meetings for product and marketing plan approvals.
  • Forecast licensing revenues and tracking the sales not to go below the minimum guarantee.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business or Marketing, MBA or equivalent years of experience.

REQUIRED work EXPERIENCE

Minimum 5 years experience at a major entertainment sector, consumer packaged goods company, toy, fashion or cosmetics industry.

FOREIGN LANGUAGE

Fluent Japanese language
