The DM Estate Staffing Team

A San Francisco family of four, is seeking a Private Chef to join their household team. The Chef will prepare and serve family-style lunch and dinner and leave breakfast prep for the following day.

This family enjoys fresh, healthy food that is prepared from immaculately sourced, top-quality ingredients. They have a particular interest in sourcing humanely raised animal proteins and consuming only organic produce, values that we hope our potential Chef shares.

Substantial experience with Japanese cooking and wine pairings is required.

They enjoy seasonal New American and California Cuisine and cooking with Asian influences. The most important aspect is that the food is healthy and bursting with flavor, inspiring the Chef to create culinary masterpieces!

In this role, the Chef will join an established household team that prides itself on dedication to their work and mutual respect. It is a supportive environment where your work will be rewarded and appreciated. Longevity is vital in this role, and applicants should have a strong desire to be in the position for at least five years, and ideally many more.

There is limited interaction with the principals in this role. While they are incredibly appreciative of the Chef’s efforts, this is not a position in which there is casual chatting about one’s life outside of work. The selected Chef will find this to be a plus!

Meals are prepared in the chef’s kitchen of a private property next door to the primary residence. It is then transported next door to the primary residence by the Chef.
