    Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
    $57,750 – $129,800

    The Process Engineer – Materials Management will join the Indianapolis Parenteral Manufacturing (IPM) site to support system level detailed design, material handling and automated storage equipment commissioning and qualification activities, robotics integration, and ensure the operating site Logistics System (Automated Storage and Retrieval System, Material Conveyance, Automated Guided Vehicles, Autonomous Mobile Robots) meets the requirements of the business.

    Responsibilities:
    • Drive lean principles and ensure efficient and effective material flows are maintained.
    • Support the value stream mapping initiatives across the IPM site.
    • Work closely with business leaders to identify when business demands will exceed the capability of the logistics system.
    • Lead multi-disciplinary teams within manufacturing, quality and other business units to effectively deploy robotic and supporting automation systems to meet demands of the business
    • Provide subject matter expertise for robotic system installation, testing, and support in a manufacturing site.
    • Work effectively with partner companies and contractors as needed.
    • Be a champion for safety activities and a role model for diversity, ethics, and compliance. Ensure assets and processes comply with safety policies and procedures. Ensure technology supports improving the personnel safety and ergonomic design.
    • Ensure equipment is maintained in a qualified state throughout the equipment lifecycle, including changes and return to production after maintenance and repair.

    Basic Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or Logistics Management.

    Experience:
    • 3+ years of experience in a highly automated manufacturing environment supporting automation and robotics systems.

    Additional Skills/Preferences:
    • MS, MBA, or PMP certification
    • Demonstrated logistics experience
    • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of robotics
    • Knowledge/experience with AGV / AMR control systems and fleet managers, control system programming and integration (PLC, HMI, MES, etc.). Fanuc and Staubli experience a plus.
    • Passion in the field of Robotics, Autonomous Vehicle systems, Supply Chain Automation and Logistics
    • Proficiency in delivering highly complex tasks and/or tasks that are highly cross-functional
    • Knowledge/experience in cGMP, ICH, USP, and applicable regulations as well as robotics industry standards
    • Experience utilizing robotic technologies to deliver value to manufacturing operations
    • Comfortable with IT and automation architecture design and integration
    • Demonstrated Project Management skills and ability to coordinate complex projects
    • Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
    • Ability to communicate and influence effectively across functional groups and stakeholders
    • Strategic thinking and ability to balance short term needs with long term business evolution
    • Enthusiasm for changes, team spirit and flexibility
    • Demonstrated ability to learn & apply technical/scientific knowledge
