    As a Production Assistant with the Visual Media Production team, you will provide strong administrative and production field support for a variety of production and media offerings, projects, and special events both on and off-property at the Walt Disney World® Resort.

    This position is seasonal with no guarantee of regular hours.

    What You Will Do

    • Provide administrative and field support duties, which will include production scheduling, communication, and coordination of logistics
    • Ensure all vital supplies for location shoots have been secured and/or purchased and the equipment packages have been prepared by the technicians
    • Coordinate access into backstage areas on our cruise ships and in our parks
    • Prepare and provide consistent, timely event updates as these relate to technicians, vendors and talent
    • Maintain timelines, schedules, meetings and status reports
    • Completes any and all show or event production-related tasks as requested by those teams

    Required Qualifications & Skills

    • Proven media production experience as well as a theme park or equivalent live show entertainment experience
    • Proven ability to build and follow agendas, facilitate meetings, address action items, take direction, meet deadlines, and complete tasks on time
    • Ability to multi-task and deliver quality, timely work, within tight deadlines
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while being flexible to ever-changing priorities
    • Demonstrated strong verbal, written, and listening communication skills
    • Proven organizational and time management skills with attention to detail and strong follow-through
    • Demonstrated computer proficiency within a Microsoft Office suite.
    • Familiarity with both PC and Mac-based programs such as Keynote
    • Willingness and ability to travel, both domestically and internationally, as appropriate to projects/events assigned
    • Familiarity with Walt Disney World and Resorts locations
    • Demonstrated ability to solve problems
    • Trusted and respected team member who guides with integrity with the ability to handle/manage confidential information with discretion
    • Self-starter who takes initiative to assess needs proactively and provide resourceful solutions
    • Proven ability to provide excellent service to Cast, Guests, Clients, and Partners
    • Ability to drive company vehicles ranging from 4-door SUVs to 15-passenger vans on local roads and highways as needed
    • Available and willing to work weekends, holidays, and third shifts as needed

    Preferred Qualifications

    • General knowledge of radio and television broadcasting production
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to prioritize and coordinate Characters, Performers, and Technicians
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team and eager to be part of a vibrant, creative work culture, bringing and sharing unique perspective to the role
    • Able to drive company box truck on local roads and highways, as needed
    • Fluency in any additional languages is a plus (Mandarin, French, Japanese, Spanish, Portuguese, etc.
    • Valid US Passport

    Education

    • High school diploma or equivalent is required
    • Bachelor’s degree or three years of broadcast experience is preferred
