Our Project Architects; What are we looking for?

We are currently on the search for the most amazing Projects Architects with a desire to bring their expertise and passion to some of the world’s most amazing projects from our vibrant Tokyo office! On the back of some amazing project wins and a very long pipeline of future work planned, spanning across stadiums, arenas and aviation, we are looking to continue to build our capacity our critical part of the business.

Specifically, we’re looking for our future Project Architects to possess:

• The ongoing legal right to work within Japan (citizen/permanent resident).
• 10+ years’ experience working on large scale project.
• A bachelor’s degree in Architecture, or similar.
• Experience using Revit for architectural documentation and who can efficiently develop and produce 3D project documentation and detailing to standards and project requirements.
• A strong proficiency in both written and verbal Japanese and English.

Our future Project Architects will:

• Provide project leadership and guidance to team members and consultants to work within schedule, budget, and quality standards.
• Lead and manage small to large teams in developing, modifying, and reviewing design concepts, production drawings and construction documents according to established standards and technical requirements.
• Develop and prepare design presentations to clients, communities. and other stakeholders such as government representatives and public agencies.
• Be an active member of the Japan office, and the Southeast Asia leadership group.
• Have a strong desire and passion for working in teams that are highly collaborative and who have a continuous learning mindset.

• Have well-rounded design eye and the ability to engage in design discussions and debates.
