Senior Specialist Product Compliance

Your Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen in Product Compliance Department at Surface Solutions Business Unit within the Electronics Segment. In this position you will coordinate and execute Regulatory Affairs tasks for our product portfolio. The position is focusing on Pesticidal and Chemical Regulations (EPA FIFRA and TSCA).

Internal collaboration with your peers and with colleagues in Product Management, Production, Sales, etc. will be key. After onboarding training you will be the key contact to authorities and industry groups.

You will become part of a global team that ensures Product Compliance, Trade Compliance, Sustainability and Quality Oversight for our portfolio, which includes effect pigments as well as active ingredients for cosmetic products.

Who you are:

• Master’s Degree or above in natural sciences or engineering.
• Minimum 4 years professional experience in a customer facing environment.
• Professional experience in Regulatory Affairs.
• Experience with SAP ERP software preferred.
• High level of customer focus, self-motivated and passionate in networking.
• Very good analytical skills, process-oriented thinking as well as structured way of working and a solution-oriented mindset.
• Strong interpersonal communication and written skills, proactive problem-solving and trouble shooting skills.
• Capability to manage and deliver in a matrix environment and ability to interact cross-functionally in a global environment.
• Effective negotiation, communication, and presentation skills (verbal and writing) in Japanese and English.
• Excitement about the Surface Solution business and joining a motivated harmonious and intercultural team.
