General Summary of Duties:
Assist Servers with all tasks related to food and beverage service in a courteous and efficient manner while maintaining a clean work area in accordance with company standards and procedures.

Examples of Duties (includes but is not limited to the following):

  • Knowledge of all menu items, restaurant, and general hotel information
  • Respond to guest requests and concerns in a timely, warm, and energetic manner
  • Ensure service area is clean and organized
  • Support serving staff by assisting with cleaning and resetting all dining areas
  • Deliver food and beverages to guests in a timely manner
  • Monitor and observe guests dining experience
  • Ensure guests are satisfied with their food and service
  • Perform side work during downtime; such as rolling silverware, restocking condiments, and sweeping floor
  • Ensure general cleanliness of work area in accordance with all health and safety standards
  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned

Position Requirements:

  • Ability to speak, read, write and understand English
  • Professional demeanor appropriate for a luxury environment
  • Knowledge of upscale food and beverage

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Typical Physical / Mental Demands:

  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, crouch
  • Must use hands to reach, grasp, handle, pull and push
  • Must have good near and far vision
  • Must be able to hear, talk, smell
