Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$18.75 – $31.25
Job Description
Responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance in more than one technical area that include industrial mechanics, instrumentation, and electricity.
Execute maintenance tasks and carry out projects in process equipment, electrical systems and instrumentation systems in different areas but not limited to Granulation, Blending, Roller Compactor, Capsules, Tablets and corresponding Utilities. Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on process equipment such as: Pumps, process piping, tanks, electric motors, electrical distribution systems, rotary, and hydraulic systems. Perform calibration procedures on temperature, flow, pressure, and level process control systems. Maintain process and utilities equipment in optimum operational conditions using corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance programs.
Education and Experience
- Two associate degrees in technical disciplines or an associate degree in at least one discipline and knowledge through formal training in other disciplines (ex. on the job experience, accredited courses). Preferred technical disciplines are Industrial Mechanics, Instrumentation, and/or Electricity.
- Experience in both technical disciplines is required, and maintenance of pharmaceutical dry product equipment operations is preferred.
Additional Skills and Preferences
- Read and interpret specifications, drawings, procedures in both English and Spanish
- Basic communication in English and Spanish
- Teamwork oriented
- Good interpersonal and customer service skills
- Candidate must have a strong compliance mindset and sound judgement
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and work under minimal supervision
- Available to support a 7/24 operations in rotating shifts
