The Sr Program Manager – Asia Direct Strategic Portfolio is essential in driving strategic growth programs for our businesses in China, South Korea, and Japan. This role will work directly with the SVP, Asia Direct, to build, implement, and operate integrated growth strategies. The ideal candidate is a passionate, action-oriented change agent. A person with a history of leading successful cross-functional programs with global and regional operating teams, anchored in productive relationships across the extended leadership teams, will thrive in this role.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
- Influences and collaborates across business functions within a global, matrixed organization.
- Oversees initiative execution, ensuring projects and programs are delivered within timelines and budget constraints.
- Leads the coordination, design and facilitation of workshops, working sessions, and meetings
- Ensures milestone/deliverable accuracy and communicates project metrics and analytics to drive rigorous execution, enable early insight into potential issues, and support data-driven decision-making to ensure the project remains on course for success.
- Acts as an escalation point for complex problems. Recommending and implementing corrective action, as necessary, to improve program delivery performance
- Represents programs cross-functionally through skilled storytelling
- Performs other duties as assigned
YOU HAVE
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or applicable certification or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of business functional experience in strategic program and project management
- Understanding in the product creation process, including experience in merchandising, product management, or related product-creation work.
- 8+ years Apparel/Footwear brand environment
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint to facilitate sharp storytelling
- A track record of leading and proactively managing end-to-end execution of projects/programs that deliver quantifiable business impact
- An ability to develop high-profile, influential, and collaborative relationships across teams, functions, and layers
- Previous work experience with other cultures in a business setting and awareness maximizing performance across cultural differences
- Japanese, Korean, and/or Mandarin language skill a plus
- An ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- An ability to prioritize team and individual tasks and respond to urgent requests/inquiries with minimal supervisory involvement

- Ability to deliver a vision and sense of urgency to mobilize teams and complete changes effectively
- Values empowering teams for independent decision-making through clear direction and leadership
- Ability to lead and influence without direct lines of supervision but acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. No direct reports
- Leads projects with manageable risks and resource requirements
