    Responsibilities

    High School IT Internship Overview

    Each intern will be assigned a project which will contribute to the IT organization, providing exposure to the pharmaceutical industry, and the role IT plays in creating solutions for Eli Lilly and Company. Interns will have access to Lilly leadership to learn more about career paths and opportunities. At the conclusion of the internship, each intern will present their project highlights and accomplishments to IT professionals.

    Basic Qualifications

    • At least 16 years of age by the start of the internship
    • Good analysis/problem assessment skills
    • Good written and verbal communication skills
    • Demonstrated teamwork/interpersonal skills
    • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Eli Lilly and Company does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B status) for this employment position.

    Additional Skills/Preferences

    • Knowledge of mobile application platforms, collaboration suites (ex: SharePoint), etc.
    • Basic knowledge of HTML, Python, Java, C++
    • Minimum 3.2 GPA
    • Interest in emerging technologies
    • A strong desire to explore a career in technology
