Your role.
Your work will include, but not be limited to:
- Conducting User Research: Focus on improving interactions and experiences that staff and clients have with our processes, products, and services. Develop detailed research plans with clear objectives and utilize various research methods such as user interviews, surveys, journey maps, hassle maps, and empathy maps to gather data and behavioral insights around the needs and desires of our staff and clients.
- Collecting, Analyzing, and Synthesizing Data: Collect and analyze both quantitative and qualitative data to identify patterns, pain points, and preferences. Synthesize data, document findings, identify potential solutions, and provide UX recommendations.
- Collaborating on Multidisciplinary Fusion Teams: Partner with the Practices, Business Innovation, UX, Human-AI Interaction, and Tech Services teams on stage-gating products and services to determine if an idea is feasible, valuable, viable, and scalable.
- Innovative Problem Solving: Apply creative and innovative approaches to solve complex business problems and experiment with new research methods to achieve Think Cycle exploration objectives and desired business outcomes.
- Creating Lab Artifacts: Develop UX research artifacts (ex. surveys journey maps, empathy maps, etc.) to better visualize and understand the interactions, experiences, and feelings of our staff and clients to guide further explorations of potential solutions.
- Advancing UX Capabilities: Stay current on the latest advancements and best practices around UX methods, tools, and trends to advance our lab capabilities and services.
The qualifications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Sociology, or Human-Computer Interaction with certifications in UX research and design; Master’s degree (preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in UX research and data analysis (qualitative and quantitative – behavioral and attitudinal)
- Proven ability applying creative and innovative approaches to solve complex problems
- Proven ability collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to explore business problems and prototype potential solutions (processes, products, and services)
- Solid knowledge of data collection, analysis, and synthesis techniques to deliver meaningful insights to determine if a concept is feasible, valuable, viable, and scalable
- This position may require some local, national, and occasional international travel.

Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) Information
Compensation is commensurate with technical skills and experience and is provided in accordance with the CO Equal Pay for Equal Work Act.
Compensation information posted is based on a position being located in the state of CO. Please review position location for applicable geographic location.
Colorado monthly base range is as follows:
$6,750.00 to $9,583.33
We are pleased to offer eligible staff a robust benefits package. Eligibility and contribution requirements for some of these benefits vary based on the number of hours staff work per week. Highlights include health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance. These standard offerings are effective on the first of the month following your start date. In addition to this, eligible staff are able to take advantage of our Flexible Time Off and various pre-determined holidays as well as a balance fund, 401(k) plan, flexible benefits plans, business-related travel expense, lodging and meal reimbursement for business-related use. A Pension plan is also available for eligible administrative and paraprofessional staff. A discretionary bonus plan is available for eligible staff. Plante Moran also offers Interns and Contractors the option to elect health insurance under our contingent staff medical plan as of the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment in addition to limited paid time sick time. Seasonal staff are not eligible for benefits.
