A Japanese Entertainment company focusing on a variety of products such as toys and collectibles is looking for a full time, onsite (with the possibility of switching to a hybrid setting) Inside Sales/ Account Manager to join their Irvine, CA location.

In this role, the candidate is in charge of maintaining relationships with their clientele (B2B inside sales; selling to retail shops that place toys/collectibles in their location).

They are also required to develop key territory sales plans which align to the retail marketing budgets and all annual targets. They are responsible for account forecasting, identifying risks and creating sales opportunities. They must also be able to meet or exceed assigned sales targets, demonstrating accountability and a results-driven mindset.

DOE and skills, the pay range for this position would be between the 70k-80k mark!!

Japanese although not needed, it would be a big plus!!

Your essential duties would be as follows:

SALES MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES:

– Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with assigned clients, understanding their business objectives, challenges, and expectations.
– Recommends and implements brand and product plans to all trade partners.
– Develop retail promotional plan which aligns with retail marketing goals.
– Delivers sales impactful, number-oriented presentations to new, potential and current clients.
– Evaluates accounts plans monthly with management during calls and meetings.
– Efficiently plans all budgets and asks for additional resources to drive incremental business.
– Manage sales pipelines and CRM software, updating records, tracking activities, and monitoring progress to achieve sales targets and objectives.
– Travel to trade shows and corporate events for product presentations and industry events.
– Manage and mentor team, dependent on territory assignment.

ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES:

– Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products and services to existing clients, working collaboratively with sales and marketing teams to maximize revenue.
– Responsible for sales forecasting activities and analyzes and reviews performance goals.
– Reviews market conditions to determine customer needs, product positioning, and volume potential.
– Manages, analyzes and reviews clients’ logistic flow (sell-in and sell-through) of products and promotions.
– Manages all category management functions, including sku productivity, POGs maximization, margin performance/enhancement, sales promotions and revenue growth.
– Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify potential threats and opportunities for account growth.
Please consider the following qualifications when applying:

​​​​​​​- Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university or equivalent in Business Administration.
– Few years of related experience (root/inside sales)
– English fluency
– Is passionate about Anime/Toys & Collectibles/Entertainment industry overall

Minimum USD Salary: 70,000
Maximum USD Salary: 80,000
