Summary:

This position is responsible for dynamic Sales and Marketing Manager leading our sales and marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales and marketing plans, driving revenue growth, and enhancing brand awareness, managing the promotion and direction of the sales and/or service activities among customers or prospects in the company.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  1. Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to achieve business objectives.
  2. Identify new business opportunities and build strong relationships with potential clients.
  3. Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed of industry trends and competitive landscape. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of competitor’s products, services and prices.
  4. Oversee the creation of marketing materials, campaigns, and digital content.
  5. Collaborate with other departments, including the team in other regions (particularly in Japan) to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
  6. Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior management.
  7. Manage budgets and performance, allocate resources efficiently, and optimize return on investment.
  8. Obtain inquiries from interested and prospective clients. Create opportunities to present company products/services. Provide effective presentations and demonstrations.
  9. Ensure that customer problems arising from sales activities including customer service are responded to effectively.
  10. Maintain a detailed knowledge of company products, systems and services and apply it effectively in understanding customer/client problems, diagnosing requirements and offering solutions
  11. Keep up-to-date on product technology particularly developments impacting on the company’s product range and sales competitiveness.
  12. Maintain liaison with support departments in the company to ensure that value-added to the customer is maximized.
  13. Maintains and updates group related controlled documents such as business standard, department standard, work and job instructions.
  14. Assists Account Receivable to collect money for the sales activities.
  15. Any other duties and projects as needed/assigned.

  3. Effective leadership skills with the ability to document and plan activities
  4. Be responsible, motivated and result oriented
  5. Ability to adapt and be productive in a fast-paced and demanding environment where priorities are constantly changing
  6. Willing to take a leadership role in assigned area of responsibility
  7. Proficient in CRM software, digital marketing tools, and MS Office Suite.
  8. Appropriate knowledge of the company’s products, customers and transactions (or ability to learn within a limited amount of time)
  9. Appropriate knowledge of international trade
  10. Capable of interfacing with HR on pertinent issues
  11. Willingness to continually learn and study federal/state/international laws and other issues pertaining to the position’s activities
  12. Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  13. Must have ability of driving and travel (both domestic and international)
  14. Must be able to work non-standard work time and week
  15. Must have a valid driver’s license.

Education and Experience:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in a related business field, or equivalent experience
  2. Proven experience in sales and marketing management roles, preferably in the electronics and/or specialties industry, which is related to the product lines we handle.
  3. Have maintained a good understanding of relevant accounting, international trade, and commercial issues – or kept apprised of current events
  4. Understanding Japanese business culture or language is preferred

  4. The position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 25 pounds.
Minimum USD Salary: 85,000
Maximum USD Salary: 120,000
