Duties: Ensure the compliance of corporate governance activity applicable to logistics services in the automobile manufacturing industry including in the areas of Global Confidentiality Policy, record retention, document control, risk management, and efficient operations. Ensure high ethical standards in relation to corporate governance and compliance. Ensure communication with company group’s reporting requirements and transparency throughout North American operations. Implement corporate governance manual content at the company level. Coordinate company activities. Communicate with local executive management. Prepare annual check sheets. Utilize company resources for completion of assessments. Collect semi-annual progress report at the company level. Attend corporate governance and compliance training seminars. Communicate where appropriate change in procedures or the application of corporate governance and compliance guidelines. Coordinate and promote the importance of corporate governance at the local company level. Facilitate the administration of the training process relative to the handbook. Maintain group governance records. Act as Business Compliance Representative Communicator and Facilitator. Prepare corporate governance documents. Coordinate and promote corporate governance through support of the annual audit. Check the accuracy of the corporate governance compliance program. Serve as interpreter and translator in communications with the group’s Japanese operations.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business/Business Administration, plus 3 yrs relevant exp incl 3 yrs exp in human resources/corporate governance or administrative role; 3 yrs exp in project management; and 3 yrs exp in using internet-based human resources information systems (HRIS) to monitor and maintain training compliance. Will accept educational equivalency evaluation prepared by qualified evaluation service or in accordance with 8 CFR Section 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(D). Demonstrated ability to speak, read, and write Japanese fluently.(Required)
