Job Type:A Japanese Manufacturing company is currently looking for a full time, filly onsite Bilingual Office, Production & Japan Mobility Track Liaison to join their Cullman, AL or Canton, MS locations.
While the role initially focuses on communication support between Japanese expatriates and local staff, it offers broad career development opportunities across office administration, production operations, and specialized departments such as background screening. Additionally, there is potential for future assignments at the company’s operations in Japan.
This is a career-entry position ideal for candidates who are eager to grow within a global company and take on greater responsibilities beyond interpretation. Several team members have successfully transitioned from entry-level roles to senior leadership. OPT candidates are also welcome to apply.
Your essential duties would be as follows:
– Provide Japanese-English interpretation for meetings, trainings, and daily operations on the production floor
– Translate documents, reports, emails, and internal communications between Japanese and English
– Support communication and coordination across office and manufacturing departments
– Assist in production improvement initiatives and administrative workflows
– Act as a liaison between Japanese expatriates and local staff to ensure smooth collaboration
– Take on additional duties in office functions (e.g. background check support) as needed
Please consider the following qualifications when applying:
– Japanese-English bilingual proficiency (spoken and written)
– Prior interpretation experience in a manufacturing or office environment preferred
– Interest in developing a long-term career in office operations, production, or international assignments
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Experience or interest in data handling and administrative processes is a plus
– Open to OPT candidates
- Annual salary: $50,000 – $55,000 (based on experience)
- Relocation assistance: Up to $3,000 depending on candidate’s current location
